Program Developer (Part-Time)

The Program Developer should have 5+ years of experience identifying opportunities to establish and build funding and programs that focus on youth engagement, education, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identifies potential funding sources for programs and completes grant applications;
  • Monitors and evaluates proposed federal and state legislation relative to agency programs and policies and prepares summaries regarding potential impact;
  • Works with public and private partners—sometimes leading collaborations—to develop and implement initiatives to raise funds and build partnerships
  • Establishes methods and procedures for the collection and reporting of program data
  • Prepares reports on the status of programs and projects.
  • Prepares presentations, memos, etc., to communicate program status, data, outcomes, and recommendations to improve goals and strategies.
  • Managing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platform pages for the organization, ensuring that these pages are active and the social reputation and engagement of SAYSS is being increased through these media.

Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

The Administrative Assistant will help with day-to-day activities. This requires proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint, scanning, faxing, and filing documents, answering incoming calls, and help with other projects assigned.

Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Bookkeeper performs basic accounting tasks for the organization.  Responsible for creating and tracking financial transactions, posting information to QuickBooks, generating reports, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Part-Time)

Assists clients with personal hygiene activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs, recording intake and output information. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Companion Care Assistant (Part-Time)

Provide companionship to client; prepare and serve meals; assist with grooming and dressing; light housekeeping, including laundry.  Also, assist client by shopping, running errands, accompanying the client to medical appointments and assist with planning and attending client’s recreational activities and events.

Transportation Aide (Volunteer)

Transportation Aides are responsible for providing assistance/escort for clients traveling to and from medical or other personal appointments. This will include pick-up from and return to their residence.  The position may require assisting a client with ambulatory tasks, such as movement to and from a wheelchair or assistance with walking.  It may also require accompanying the client during the appointment when needed.
